Finley Farms has been farming in the Santa Ynez Valley since 2004 and have been bring their bountiful harvests to the SLO Farmers’ Market since 2005. Owners Christopher and Johanna are self-taught, first-generation farmers who love the ability to provide the most flavorful, freshest produce money can buy. Always picked at peak of ripeness and directly before the market, Finley Farms’ produce is abundant with seasonal variety. From sweet corn and truly vine-ripened tomatoes, sweet melons, berries, crisp cucumbers, lettuce and juicy onions, sweet thick peppers and spicy jalapeños, to leafy greens and sweet roots, harvest is year-round and always delicious. Four children have grown up on Finley Farms and at SLO Farmers’ Market. While chasing toddlers and manning the market table became more challenging, they hired life-long friend and San Luis Obispo resident Kevin Hall to run the booth, so they could continue work on the farm, although all of Finley Farms is represented at the market every week.
