For most of the year, Cirone Farms has a plethora of produce to choose from at SLO Farmers’ Market. There are a handful of crops to choose from, such as crisp apples in the fall, savory pears or avocadoes in the winter, and juicy apricots in the spring, to name a few. Cirone Farms aims to provide fresh, local and tasty fruit that can be found at SLO Farmers’ Market and other markets as far south as Santa Monica during those seasons. Mike Cirone grew up in San Luis Obispo and studied Fruit Science as a Cal Poly Mustang. Many of the fruits are grown in See Canyon; whether it’s a pick from the many varieties of apples, such as Fuiji, or biting into a rare White Sapote – native to South America – Cirone Farms are ready to share the wealth at the next farmers’ market.
